ABOUT ME
I love video games, sports, and everything in between— meaning that the esports industry is exactly where I want to be.
In high school, I sold my artwork online and moonlighted as a moderator and community manager for a Minecraft YouTuber, Technoblade. It was through these avenues that I saw firsthand both how impactful social media can be in helping creative work get seen and how important individual branding can be in expanding one’s platform. Throughout my college career, I’ve watched from the sidelines as live-streaming, esports, and video game content have hit all-time highs in terms of viewership and revenue. Now, I want nothing more than to be a part of the conversations that continue this trajectory and bring in people who have no idea what they’re missing out on.
As a lifetime volleyball player and avid gamer, I understand firsthand how much fun competition can be— and how hard it can seem when the world’s very infrastructure seems designed to prevent you from experiencing it. While I’m early in my career right now, I hope to one day use my passion, creativity, and Global Studies and Media Arts & Design degree to lessen the gap between male and female esports participation and see more girls up on the international stage.
When I’m not staring at my Outlook inbox, I love to read, write, paint, and do crosswords.
